The Phenom of the WWF. The Grim Reaper. The Lord of Darkness. The Undertaker. However you call him, you cannot deny his impact on the WWF since his entrance as "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase's Mystery Partner during the 1990 Survivor Series. Since then, he has dominated his opposition as no wrestler before or ever will!

I have followed the career of the Man From The Dark Side since his arrival and he has always been my favourite wrestler. When he humbled Hulk Hogan (he needed Paul Bearer to accidentally nail The Taker with the urn to get the pin which subsequently resulted in the title being declared vacant), I cheered. When he chokeslamed Yokozuna (who needed the help of ten other wrestlers to beat the Undertaker in a casket match to keep his title), I was ecstatic. As he ran ramshod over Dibiase's Million Dollar Corperation (starting with the "Evil" Undertaker at the 1994 Summerslam, then going through IRS, King Kong Bundy and finally Kama at the 1995 Summerslam), I was in heaven!

Even when he is not involved in any of the WWF's major angles (and that is rare), he still manages to strike fear in the hearts of his opponents. His near supernatural appearances, his ability to recover from almost any type of attack, his inability to feel pain and, at times, his fury. All these and more make him a force to be reckoned with. As Bret "The Hitman" Hart once put it, as the wrestlers go about in the dressing area, they take a look at other wrestlers and think to themselves, "I can take this guy, I can take this guy." And then, they see The Undertaker and wonder, "Can I take this guy?"

Although The Undertaker has only held the WWF World Heavyweight Title on 2 occassions during his long stay, he is always one of the top contenders for the title. If you doubt this, just take a look at the list of wrestlers he has put away.

With the arrival of his "brother" Kane, things have begun to look even more interesting as now there is another guy to rival the power of The Undertaker, although nobody can match his actual prsence in the ring. I can't wait for the day when The Undertaker and Kane team up because that could spell the end for all the wrestlers in the WWF, as they all "Rest in Peace!"
